UrbanSweeps are games played in the real world with clues that direct people to find hidden locations. To really set up your game correctly you need to have real world spots marked with a secret code. You can create the codes through this web interface. You can also use a pre-printed map of locations that provide a player with location codes. In addition, you need some good clues. Clues can be puns or rhymes but should help a player find a real location.
How do people play my UrbanSweep?
If you’ve ever seen Supermarket Sweep, UrbanSweep is played in much the same way. A player texts a keyword to join the game (you decide what that word is), they are then given instructions and a random hint chosen from a location. They then must find the location and text in the code word or name shown at that location or on a pre-printed map or game sheet. If they found the right spot, they are given a clue for another spot they have to find. If a player finds all the spots they win. Winners are given a winning message that you create. That message might be a coupon code or an offer that you choose to create to incentivize gameplay.
